"It relieved all my pain, I couldn't be happier with the results!"

For Karen, the stabbing pain and numbness in her feet wasn’t the worst part of the neuropathy that “came out of nowhere” 10 years ago. It was the loss of simple things like being able to care for her pets and walk around barefoot.

Karen is not diabetic, so the sharp pain that started at the bottom of her feet and ran up above her ankles was a mystery. Her feet were also numb, so she couldn’t feel the ground beneath her. She had no sense of balance, which made walking difficult. Not being able to do the things she loved weighed heavily on Karen.

Prescription pain medications either didn’t work at all or weren’t covered by her insurance. In 2023 she saw a poster for HFX at Dr. Biesinger’s office and asked about it. He agreed she might be a good candidate and referred her to a pain management doctor. Karen first tried HFX with a temporary device that is worn externally, and it was “heavenly,” she said. “It relieved all my pain.”

Since getting the HFX implant last February, Karen has 80% pain relief on average. She’s regained much of her balance and can get in and out of the pool to go swimming without help. And she can take care of her pets again without pain.

“I’ve told all my friends about HFX because it has worked so well. I couldn’t be happier with the results!” Thank you Dr. Biesinger!
